Who We Are

The Dyersburg-Dyer County Photography Club is an organization of photographers from the Dyersburg, Tennessee area and Dyer County. We are a diverse group, having amateurs and pro-amateurs, film photographers and digital photographers, college students, retirees. An interest in the art of photography is all that is required for memebership.

What We Do
This club meets at least once a month to discuss club business, upcoming events, and to provide members and guests with a chance to show their work in the monthly "show-and-tell" session. These meetings are also a great environment to meet people who share the passion for photography and interest in the craft. Many trade information about equipment, shooting locations, and ideas.
The monthly meetings sometimes incorporate a special program by a memeber, or a local professional. Programs might include: mini photographic workshops, information about PhotoShop, lighting tips, tours of local professional photography studios, a local professional lab, a photo safari, and a lot more. These programs are to educate and inform our members while providing a fun family type vehicle for learning.

When We Meet
Our regularly scheduled meetings are on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 6:30pm. Meetings usually last until until 8pm.
Where We Meet
Our regular meetings are held at the Professional Development Center, Downtown Dyersburg
305 College Street / Front Entrance.

What are the Dues
Dues for the club are to be discussed at the next meeting.
Who Can Join
Anyone can join. We do ask that children be accompianied by an adult at the meetings. There is no pre-requisite to join. All we ask is that you have a passion for photography.
